DANCE CEREMONY 'TO ROME'
TO ROME is about the emotional choices people make and how they affect relationships. In this time when ‘social distancing’ has become the norm, the internet offers an obvious alternative to emotionally reduce social distance.
But does that really happen? Or do we end up in a vicious circle because of all the algorithms, where we are only presented with what we want to see and hear.
In this dance duet, ‘real-life’ contact is examined and social skills tested. Working from the dance styles,
House dance & Krump, the dancers design what it is to make an effort to find an equal way of communicating in the broadest sense of the word.
Do all roads lead to ROME?

NEDDA SOU
Nedda is an Amsterdam-based professional dancer, DJ, event organizer and founder of Fresh Culture Foundation. She has been focused on her career in Urban Dance and on her series of events Pass the Torch and The Update. Storytelling is central to all her projects.
VIRGIL CIANO
Virgil is a Rotterdam-based professional model and dancer.
NATALY MILENA
Nataly Milena has worked in many different styles, from Ballet to Performance Art, Hip Hop and Modeling. She is now mainly involved in a dance company called ‘Liquid’ and in the freestyle community.
